Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
Are you like the farmer?
I notice that when I judge and label events as they happen to me, I add pointless stress to my life.
I have found that when I resist the temptation to interpret every experience as good or bad, I am happier.
Today, try not labeling every single incident in your day.
Some people say things happen for a reason. What if we said that things just ‘happen?’
It’s not the events in our lives that determine our happiness, but rather how we interpret them.
Some of the worst things to ever happen to me have turned out to be some of the best because of what they’ve taught me and how they’ve made me a better person.
Many survivors of tragic events consider themselves better off after losing limbs, sight, fortunes.
What if you interpreted small, annoying events as just events, neither good nor bad?
How would your stress level change?
You never know what will be the consequence of misfortune or of good fortune.
